When it comes to finding quality camera lenses the general consensus in the photographic community is that the more expensive the lens, the better the lens. The new Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 1,4/35 wide-angle lens is no exception to the rule.

Expands creative possibilities

Carl Zeiss recently introduced the Distagon T* 1,4/35 wide-angle lens featurin Canon EF (ZE) and Nikon F (ZF.2) mounts. Looking at the press release the new Carl Zeiss camera lens is perfectly suited for the creative photographer who is always looking for that intimate shot as it reads, ‘A woman is sitting at the bar of a dimly-lit cafe. Lost in thoughts, she doesn’t notice the glass of wine the bartender places before her. From a distance, a photographer tries to capture her mood. He brings her face, which is leaning toward her phone, into focus. Everything around her becomes a blur, and the lights in the background coalesce into a wild “dance” of diffuse shapes’. Corny, yes. Do we love it? Hell, yes.
