Sony is a name that we routinely associate with innovative, customer-driven ideas. The W350 digital camera lives up to these expectations.

Tiny but mighty

Sony’s latest offering comes with a high-grade Carl Zeiss 26mm equivalent wide angle lens and 4x zoom capability. This means that you’ll be able to take great shots of far away subjects, which makes for great outdoor and travel photography. It’s also perfect for group photos, allowing you to include everyone easily into the shot.

Another feature the Sony W350 features is its Sweep Panorama mode. You can capture wider than usual, 268-degree panoramic shots. All you do is press the shutter, shoot the scene with a sweeping motion and release. The camera does the rest!

Features

You’ll find a range of features which have become standard with most models. The Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization will automatically compensate for your shaky hands and will prevent blurry shots. Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode literally recognises scenes, lighting conditions and faces – with the help of Sony’s Face Detection technology – and automatically adjusts the settings for you. The Anti-blink function is another useful function which works to help counter blinking and squinting. Closed-eye photos are a thing of the past.

Finally, you are able to record 720p high definition movies and review them, as well as still shots, on a 2.7-inch LCD screen. You can record up to 29 minutes long videos and upload them on YouTube.

You get what you pay for

The Sony W350 was designed with those of us who don’t want to think too much while taking photos. It is the perfect little camera for quick snapshots. It is not a professional photographer’s choice, but is small, and lightweight, and you can easily carry it in your pocket or handbag.
