Earlier this year Sony announced the release of the new models for its W, H and T series, one of which is the Sony Cybershot DSC-W570. This new addition will see users getting advanced technology features at affordable prices.
Design
As seen in most point-and-shoot cameras this year Sony has gone for a sleeker and more compact design. Smaller than ever before, the Sony Cybershot DSC-W570 also has more new features than its predecessors which should keep photographers busy for hours.
New features
Sony Cybershot DSC-W570 users will see blurry images become a thing of the past with Sony’s Optical Steady Shot which detects camera shake and automatically shifts the lens to correct this without affecting the final image. The DSC-W570 also features an Anti-Blink function as well as Smile Shutter technology to prevent wasted shots due to closed eyes and frowning people. A Soft Skin Mode recognises skin tone and will automatically reduce imperfections without any change in the rest of the shot.
One of the more exiting features of this new addition is the Intelligent Scene Recognition which can detect up to eight different types of scenes and choose the correct settings within 1/30th of a second. But by far the best feature of this little camera is the Sweep Panoramic Mode which will take panoramic shots of up to 235 degrees.
Specs
This compact camera has a 5x optical zoom and a 25mm wide-angle lens. It can shoot normal images as well as 720p HD movies and boasts a 16.1-megapixel CCD sensor for superior image quality. The DSC-W570 is also great in low-light conditions as it has a high ISO of 3200 and up to a 1/1600 shutter speed to get enough light for any shot.
Available in a choice of silver, black, pink and violet this little number is perfect for any outdoor excursion and will have you out and shooting in style in no time.

It clearly states on the top of the camera that the DSC W570 has a 5 x Optical zoom although the digital-camera.com review states that it is 10 x. Pathetic.

can we insert a 2.0 flash drive into this camera?.
can we change its 2gb memory card and insert a 8gb memory card?
