Processing power
Noise and distortion are minimised by the 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor. This, combined with Nikon’s EXPEED C2 image processing engine and dual image processors ensures that you get the highest picture quality no matter where you are shooting. Low light shooting is made better by an ISO of up to 3200 and a five-way Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization System will reduce any trace of blur due and camera shake.
Never miss a moment
Equipped with a Face-Priority feature which can detect up to 12 faces, the Nikon Coolpix P500 will also automatically fix any red-eye detected in an image. Blink Warning will let you know when someone may have blinked while you were taking a photo and uneven skin tones are smoothed out by the Skin Softening feature giving everyone that model quality.
Rapid fire
To ensure that fast action is never missed as the Nikon Coolpix p500 can shoot up to five shots in one second at full resolution or for rapid fire, Multiple Continuous modes allow for up to 120 frames per second at reduced resolution.
One touch HD video
With the touch of one simple button you can switch to full HD video which shoots 30 fps with audio. Fast action can also be viewed in slow motion. No more searching through menus to change modes as video is just a click away.
With so many features packed into this little package, the P500 takes the point-and-shoot to the next level.
