The Canon 5D Mark II is yet another quality offering for the prosumer market from Canon. With full-frame shooting and full high definition video it gives a superior resolution that cannot be compared.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II boasts a massive 21.1 full-frame CMOS sensor which has redesigned pixels which minimize noise. The full frame sensor does not crop or magnify your lens in any way and with its high resolution no pro could complain about picture quality.
Canon’s patented DIGIC 4 processing combined with the CMOS sensor is what makes the HD recording possible. It also enables the 5D Mark II to get excellent colour reproductions as well as great tones and gives you Face Detection AF and Live View Modes.
With a continuous shooting mode of up to 3.9 frames per second the 5D will give you precise focus on any subject by using its 9-point Auto Focus + 6-Assist Focus points. This allows you to choose between the nine different focus points as well as the six Assist AF points for pin sharp images.

Full HD (1080p) video can be recorded straight onto a memory card and while shooting video users can still also shoot still images with the 5D Mark II. All stills and video can be played back on the 3-inch 920,000-dot resolution LCD screen at the back of the camera. This screen gives you wide-angle viewing as well as reflection free images due to the dual anti-reflective coatings.
Low light conditions pose no threat to the quality of images that the 5D produces and flash-free shooting is made possible by the availability of an ISO of 6400 which can be pushed to a massive 25600 for very dark conditions.
The Canon 5D Mark II has three ways in which to combat the harmful effects of dreaded dust. It has reduced internal dust generation, an in-camera cleaning system, and can map dust spots for removal by provided software during the editing process.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark II sets new standards in imaging technology and buyers will get the high standard they have come to expect from Canon prosumer products.
