Compact digital cameras are about as common as mobile phones now. You can guarantee that 70% of women in the pub on a Friday or Saturday night will have a compact digi cam tucked between their purse and their mobile phone.
The great thing about compact digital cameras is the quality that you can get from shots. Granted they pale in comparison to the larger DSLR cameras, however for the general happy snapper or tourist their great. These is mainly due to the fact the cameras are so automated that it’s hard to go wrong when taking pictures.
